Win an iPad in our Children’s Mental Health Week Competition!

Updated: Feb 16, 2022

Calling all students aged 11-16 years old! You now have the chance to enter our competition for Children’s Mental Health Week, which takes place from 7th – 13th February 2022.

The theme this year is ‘Growing Together’, so we wanted to come up with something that can help us all learn from each other!

To enter the competition, we are asking you to either design a poster or write 500 words all about children’s mental health. Both options are outlined below. Oh, and did we mention, there are brand-new iPads up for grabs for two lucky winners!

To be in with a chance of winning ask your teacher or tutor to email your entry to info@sweet.education by 11th March 2022, along with the entry form (available to download at the bottom of this blog).

Winners will be notified by email (to the address provided on the form) no later than 18th March 2022.

Option 1:

Design an A4 poster on the topic of “Children’s Mental Health”.

This could include:

  • Signposting towards relevant mental health support

  • Top tips to look after your mental health

  • Information about the Sweet programme, and how it has supported your mental health and wellbeing

  • Something els

Format: The poster can be designed any way you like, whether you have a flare for drawing or painting, or prefer to go digital. You could use free software such as Canva to bring your idea to life.

The prize: As well as bagging yourself a brand-new iPad, the winning entry will be bought to life by our Sweet Graphic Designer! We will send a printable PDF version to all our contacts for use in their schools and centres. We will also make it available to download at www.sweet.education, and share the winning design across all of our social media platforms.

Option 2:

If writing is more your thing, we would love you to write something under the same topic of “Children’s Mental Health”.

This could include:

  • Your own mental health experiences – the theme for this year’s Children’s Mental Health Week is “Growing Together”, so you could write about how you have grown, and how you can help others to grow

  • How the Sweet programme has helped to support your mental health and wellbeing

  • Why mental health and wellbeing education is important

  • Something else!

Format: There is a word limit of 500 words, and this can be in any format. Ideas could include:

  • A blog or article

  • A poem

  • A diary

  • An interview

  • Something else.

The prize: Yep, you guessed it, a brand-new iPad! The winning piece of content will also be published on the Blog section of www.sweet.education, and shared across all of our social media platforms. We well also feature the blog in our email newsletter to over 600 contacts!
