Win an iPad in our 2023 Children’s Mental Health Week Competition!

Children’s Mental Health Week will take place from 6-12 February 2023. The theme for 2023 is Let’s Connect.

We're giving students two ways to enter our competition to WIN AN IPAD! Either design an app that helps to safely connect people, or write about your favourite ways to connect with people offline. Check out our templates to get you started!

How to enter: 

1. Create your design or written piece in a format of your choice (e.g. using our template, Word, PDF, or presentation).

2. Email your entry to by 3rd March 2023 along with our competition entry form, available to download below.

Option A:

Design an App to safely connect people.

Create your very own mental health app to connect with others and keep people safe.

This should include:

  • App Name and Logo

  • An explanation of the app (using the questions on the template)

  • Designs

Format: You can either print off the template below and complete your pitch by hand, or you can make a digital version (using Word, PDF, Canva etc).

The prize: A brand-new iPad!

Option B:

If writing is more your thing, we would love you to write about how you enjoy connecting with others and why it is so beneficial for your wellbeing.

This should include:

  • Details of your favourite hobby or activity to connect with friends, family, or members of your community

  • Stories about volunteering, grabbing a coffee with a loved one, or playing sport with friends

  • Or something else, surprise us!

Answer the questions in the template in as much detail as possible.

Format: ​You can either print off the template below and complete by hand, or you can type your entry.

The prize: Yep, you guessed it, a brand-new iPad!

Terms and Conditions:

  1. Closing date for entry will be 3rd March, 2023. After this date, no further entries to the competition will be permitted.

  2. No responsibility can be accepted for entries not received for whatever reason – we will endeavour to acknowledge receipt where possible.

  3. One entry per student.

  4. The winner agrees to the use of their entry in any publicity material. Any personal data relating to the winner or any other entrants will be used solely in accordance with current [UK] data protection legislation and will not be disclosed to a third party without the entrant’s prior consent.

  5. There is no entry fee and no purchase necessary to enter this competition.

  6. Entry into the competition will be deemed as acceptance of these terms and conditions.

  7. The prize is as stated, and no cash or other alternatives will be offered.

  8. Sweet Education reserves the right to cancel the competition if circumstances arise outside of its control.

  9. Sweet Education’s decision in respect of all matters to do with the competition will be final and no correspondence will be entered into.

  10. The judges’ decision is final.
